This is my first draft for our animation project, my group and I are each doing a section and then we’ll adapt these to create a cohesive 60 second film. I’ve been trying to use low-tech methods to give a painty texture to the piece, but have also been experimenting with layer blends in after effects to create transparencies and depth.
To complete my biographies project I collated all the cyanotypes I had created and laid them out in a lab report style. This allowed me to organise and review the different processes I had tried and use the earlier tests as examples of how different variables affected the process.
I decided to create a book and bind it as my final outcome. It was my first attempt at bookbinding but although it’s not perfect I am pleased with the result and it’s something I want to continue practising.
